3 members of Clyde College staff visited Salpaus from the 8th of January to the 10th January. This 3-day visit was designed to reinforce the cooperation that has been developing between our two education institutes over the last year. During the visit David Marshall, (Assistant Principal Student Experience) Marie Anderson, (CEIAG Project Leader) and Louise Reilly, (Senior Student Adviser, Student Advice) met with Salpaus staff to find out more about different fields of study we provide, teaching methodology and technices as well as student guidance. The group also visited to three of our campuses, the city centre campus, Vipusenkatu technology campus and our Asikkala agricultural campus.
In their own words, the group were very impressed with the wide variety of subjects that are taught here in Salpaus and hope that student exchange over a range of departments could be implemented quickly. We are also in the process of starting a new EU project with the same college. The project aim is to map out the future skills of teachers.
